VI. Meeting of Tatlıdil Forum will be held in Antalya on 24-26 March 2017. The Forum, the first meeting of which was held in Oxfordshire on 7-9 October 2011, aims at further strengthening and enriching bilateral relations between Turkey and the United Kingdom, including through civil dialogue in political, economic, cultural and social areas.

His Royal Highness The Prince Andrew, Duke of York, H.E. Boris Johnson, Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, and Alan Duncan, UK Minister for Europe and the Americas will attend the Forum.

Under the programme of the Forum, H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Turkey, and H.E. Binali Yıldırım, Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey will address the participants at two separate official dinners which they will honor by their presence. At the first panel discussion on March 25th morning, H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey and H.E. Boris Johnson, Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, will discuss regional and world politics. In the other panel discussions, Brexit, Energy Cooperation, Middle East, 15 July Coup Attempt in Turkey and Defence&Cyber Security will be elaborated in a comprehensive manner.


The Forum, co-chaired by H.E. Reha Denemeç, Senior Advisor to the President of the Republic of Turkey, and H.E. Jack Straw, former Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom, offers the opportunity to the representatives of business, academy, politics and media of the two countries to evaluate current bilateral and international issues in an informal setting. Discussions made and the conclusions reached at the Forum provide the political circles of both countries with a guidance for areas of future cooperation.
